To participate in the General Council
In accordance with article 222-1 of the Constitution and Bylaws, the delegates to the General Council are the members of the Governing council, three delegates from the caucus, delegations from accredited local borough associations (ALA) and one delegate from each borough without an ALA. Accredited ALA delegations must be made up of the ALA coordinator, as many representatives as there are elected positions on City Council and one representative per 100 members with an active membership status. The composition of the delegations must be sent by midnight on October 12 to Projet Montréal's headquarters by the ALA. Please note that ALA delegations must respect our rule of parity of bodies and be representative of Montreal's diversity. A confirmation of the number of members of each delegation will be sent to the ALA coordinator.
Write to your local council to express your interest in participating!
If you live in a borough where there's no Projet Montreal local association (ALA), please fill out the form below.
Members who are not delegates may participate in the General Council as observers. However, the available places will be limited by the capacity of the room.
